Home Health Rule Will Bring Big Changes in 2018 and 2019

Recently the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services proposed a new rule that would update payment rates and the wage index for home health agencies that serve Medicare beneficiaries. This proposed rule will apply to those with home health episodes of care on or after January 1, 2018, with a plan to redesign the payment system in 2019.
