National Council for Behavioral Health’s #NatCon17 was THE place to be in Seattle, Washington, over April 3-5 where we joined thousands of others in making strides for the progress of behavioral health care in America. At our Netsmart booth, visitors had the chance to join us on our journey as we take STEPS towards integrating care across communities. Our booth was jam-packed with interactive features that informed, educated, entertained and included something for everyone who visited.

Throughout the exhibition, we indulged our visitors with tasty treats as they perused our booth offerings. A candy station allowed visitors to take what they need, whether it be peace, courage, hope, laughter, patience or strength.  All in Netsmart-colored M&M form, of course.

Our Netsmart associates were on hand to eagerly share and demonstrate our products with attendees, with a huge focus on integration and mobility.

There were so many wonderful sessions and presentations over the three-day event, including the 2017 State of the Union in Mental Health and Addition presented by The Kennedy Forum featuring Patrick Kennedy, Dr. David Satcher and Dr. Arthur C. Evans. We were a proud sponsor of The Kennedy Forum’s Parity Track Initiative booth which provided attendees education and resources toward the parity movement: a belief that mental health should be treated and insured the same as physical health.

Our very own Kevin Scalia, EVP, corporate development, got in on the action and took some time to bring his knowledge and expertise to attendees during an informative Q&A session about technology’s impact on the future of healthcare.

We featured talented artists who were on hand to craft visual and written masterpieces to capture our clients’ stories about their journey toward achieving integrated care.

When attendees needed a break, they could stop into our Netsmart booth to rest and re-energize. Our charging stations, sponsored by EveryDayMatters, offered a visitors the opportunity to recharge both their devices AND their minds with a little adult coloring as they waited.

As we reflect on all of the fun we had, we also feel honored to have spent time with so many like-minded individuals who are just as passionate about progressing and providing exceptional behavioral healthcare. We’re pleased to have had the opportunity to contribute to your journey towards achieving integrated care. Thank you who all who joined us at #NatCon17 and we look forward to seeing everyone again next year!
